Summary of responsibilities

• Prepare parts and surfaces for welding
• Perform welding using SMAW and FCAW processes in all positions
• Inspect welds for defects and carry out necessary repairs
• Perform regular maintenance on welding equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Maintain welding equipment and machinery
• Work closely with mechanical technicians

Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with SMAW and FCAW welding processes
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a welder
• Experience working on job sites and with crushing equipment (an asset)
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Organized, positive attitude, and strong team spirit
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
