Summary of responsibilities<\/h3>\n

Maternity Leave Replacement 16-month contract<\/strong><\/p>\n

Accounts Payable<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Verify, code, and enter supplier invoices.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare payments (cheques, electronic transfers, etc.)<\/li>\n
  • Track payment deadlines and manage supplier relationships.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure invoices match purchases orders and receipts<\/li>\n
  • Process employee travel expense claims.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Accounts Receivable<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Issue invoices to clients based on agreements or services rendered. (ON-NB)<\/li>\n
    • Follow up on customer accounts and perform collections as needed.<\/li>\n
    • Apply received payments to the correct accounts.<\/li>\n
    • Collaborate with the sales department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      General accounting and other tasks<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Post accounting entries in the financial system.<\/li>\n
      • Participate in month-end closing (adjusting entries, accruals, etc.)<\/li>\n
      • Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes.<\/li>\n
      • Write accounting procedues.<\/li>\n
      • Support the team during audits or external reviews.<\/li>\n
      • Maintain up-to-date supplier and customer records.<\/li>\n
      • Perform other tasks as deemed relevant by management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Skills<\/h3>\n
          \n
        • College diploma (DEC) in accounting or a related field.<\/li>\n
        • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.<\/li>\n
        • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate Excel required).<\/li>\n
        • Bilingual in spoken and written communication (mandatory) – The person will need to communicate with colleagues located in Ontario and New-Brunswick<\/li>\n
        • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (an asset).<\/li>\n
        • Knowledge of Concur software (an asset).<\/li>\n
        • Attention to detail, thoroughness, autonomy, and strong organizational skills.<\/li>\n
        • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n
        • Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Schedule and Salary<\/h3>\n
            \n
          • 16-month contract : August 2026 to December 2027<\/li>\n
          • Monday to Friday, 40 hours\/week<\/li>\n
